The SWP/YSA long ago gave up on Trotsky's call for worker's militias to confront and if possible suppress fascist gatherings as ultra left though to be fair they did so at a time when when outside of the South/KKK such groups were comic opera style Hollywood Nazis who talked before university political classes and even before the failed Skokie march.
